Products Description
Insulation ceramic parts are industrial components made from ceramic materials, possessing excellent electrical insulation properties. Among these, alumina ceramic (aluminum oxide, Al2O3) stands as the most prevalent and versatile material. These ceramics are typically produced by high-temperature sintering of high-purity raw materials such as oxides (e.g., high purity alumina, zirconia), nitrides (e.g., aluminum nitride), or silicates. Their dense microstructure effectively blocks the flow of electric current. Insulation ceramics, including various alumina based ceramics and aluminosilicate ceramic, not only feature outstanding electrical insulation but also offer a comprehensive combination of advantages including high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high mechanical strength, good thermal stability, and chemical stability. Consequently, they have become irreplaceable key materials in extreme or specialized working environments, fabricated into numerous forms such as alumina plates, alumina tubes, alumina bars, and alumina blocks to meet diverse application needs.

Main Performance
- Electrical Insulation Performance: Possess extremely high volume resistivity (typically >10^12 Ω·cm) and excellent dielectric strength, effectively preventing current leakage or breakdown, making alumina an excellent electrical insulator. Suitable for high-voltage and high-frequency environments.
- High-Temperature Resistance: Feature an extremely wide operating temperature range, capable of long-term stable operation in environments ranging from several hundred to over a thousand degrees Celsius. Insulation performance shows minimal degradation at high temperatures.
- Mechanical Properties: High hardness, good wear resistance, and high compressive strength. However, they are typically brittle and have relatively weak impact resistance. The density of alumina contributes to its mechanical robustness.
- Thermal Properties: Thermal conductivity varies by material (e.g., aluminum nitride offers high thermal conductivity, while some oxide ceramics like aluminum oxide ceramic have moderate conductivity). They have a low coefficient of thermal expansion, ensuring good dimensional stability.
- Chemical Stability: Exhibit excellent corrosion resistance to most acids, alkalis, and molten metals. They are not prone to aging and have a long service life.
- Weather Resistance: Performance is not affected by environmental factors such as humidity or UV exposure, ensuring long-lasting properties.
