Boron Nitride (BN) ceramic rings are high-performance engineered components made primarily from boron and nitrogen, representing a critical category within advanced boron nitride ceramics. They exhibit a crystal structure similar to carbon, commonly appearing in hexagonal (hbn ceramic / h-BN) or cubic (c-BN) forms. Hexagonal boron nitride ceramic is widely used for its excellent boron nitride machining capability, or machinable boron nitride properties, and thermal stability, earning it the nickname "white graphite." These rings can be manufactured via various processes, including hot pressed boron nitride and chemical vapor deposition to create pyrolytic boron nitride (pbn) or pbn pyrolytic boron nitride forms.
