 Aluminum nitride ceramic heaters are high-performance electric heating elements that utilize aluminum nitride ceramic as both an insulating substrate and a heat dissipation carrier. Metal resistive heating circuits (if tungsten, molybdenum-manganese, etc.) are integrated within or onto their surface through a co-firing process. They represent the advanced level of high-temperature, high-power-density heating technology.

Its core design principle leverages the exceptionally high thermal conductivity of aluminum nitride to rapidly and uniformly distribute heat generated by point or line heat sources across the entire heating surface. This enables rapid temperature rise and achieves extremely high temperature uniformity. Simultaneously, its outstanding electrical insulation ensures safe and reliable operation.

Product performance

 

 In air, when temperatures exceed 700-800°C, the surface begins to oxidize slowly, forming a dense protective layer of aluminum oxide. This layer prevents further internal oxidation, but prolonged use in high-temperature air will still cause performance degradation.

 

Recommendation: When used in air, the surface operating temperature is typically recommended to remain below 500°C. For higher temperatures, operation should be conducted in a vacuum or protective atmosphere (if available, such as nitrogen or argon), where temperatures exceeding 1300°C can be achieved.
