Products Description
Alumina Oxide Ceramics Vacuum Suckers are inorganic non-metallic materials characterized by high hardness, excellent wear resistance, high-temperature tolerance, and superior electrical insulation properties. Their performance is largely determined by the purity of the alumina, with common purity levels ranging from 90% to over 99.9%. As purity increases, all properties correspondingly improve.
Appearance: Typically white in color, surfaces can be processed to various finishes ranging from matte to high-gloss mirror. Color may vary due to trace additives (e.g., pink from chromium, blue from cobalt), though high-purity alumina remains white.

product performance
- Exceptional Hardness and Wear Resistance: Materials like alumina ceramic and zirconia ceramic used in these chucks typically achieve a Mohs hardness rating of 9 or higher, far surpassing most metals and plastics.
- Exceptional Flatness and Dimensional Stability: Precision alumina ceramics or zirconia ceramics for chucks undergo ultra-precision grinding after sintering, achieving sub-micron or even nano-level surface flatness.
- Exceptional chemical stability and cleanliness: Alumina ceramics and zirconia ceramics in ceramic vacuum chucks demonstrate outstanding corrosion resistance against most acids, alkalis, and solvents, without rusting or undergoing chemical reactions.
- Excellent thermal and electrical properties: Certain ceramics like zirconia and aluminum nitride used in chucks also possess superior thermal conductivity and electrical insulation. Alumina ceramic itself is an outstanding insulating material.
- Stable and Uniform Vacuum Distribution: The defining feature of a porous ceramic vacuum chuck is its ability to provide stable and even vacuum retention over a large area. Benefiting from the interconnected micro-pores throughout the material, vacuum force is distributed uniformly across the entire porous vacuum plate, eliminating localized stress points and minimizing the risk of distorting or damaging thin, flat workpieces like wafers, substrates, or panels.

Product application
- Substrates and Packaging: Integrated circuit boards, electronic component substrates.
- Insulating Components: High-voltage switch housings, vacuum tube casings, spark plugs, and thermocouple sheaths.
- Wear-Resistant Components: Mud pump seal rings, textile ceramics, nozzles, bushings, and cutting tools.
- Grinding Media: Ball mill balls and linings.
- Corrosion-Resistant Components: Chemical pumps, valves, and pipeline linings.
- Biomedical Applications: Artificial hip joints, dental implants, and bone screws.
