Cold Isostatic Pressing Of Ceramics

Cold Isostatic Pressing Of Ceramics

Isostatic pressing of ceramics is a manufacturing process that offers several advantages in the production of high-quality ceramic components.In this process, the ceramic powder or preform is subjected to uniform pressure from all directions within a fluid medium, typically a liquid or a gas. This uniform pressure application ensures that the resulting ceramic part has consistent density and microstructure throughout.

Product Performance of Alumina Ceramic Tubes

  • Extremely high hardness and wear resistance: The Mohs hardness of alumina ceramics can reach level 9. Its wear-resistant lifespan is more than 10 times that of ordinary steel pipes, and can even be 20 to 30 times longer, making it highly suitable for handling abrasive materials.
  • Excellent corrosion and high-temperature resistance: Alumina is a chemically stable neutral oxide that can resist strong acids, strong alkalis, and salts. At the same time, it can maintain its performance at high temperatures, with the maximum operating temperature ranging from 1600 to 1700°C depending on its purity.
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical properties: It has very high compressive strength and flexural strength (for example, the compressive strength of 99 porcelain is ≥ 630 MPa).

quality control

We adhere strictly to the ISO 9001 quality management system to ensure consistent product quality:

  • 100% inspection of raw materials to guarantee quality from the source;
  • Utilization of advanced hot-pressing production lines for precise and reliable processes;
  • In-house performance testing, including density, hardness, and microstructure analysis;
  • Possession of third-party authoritative certifications (such as SGS, CE, ROHS, available upon request).
